Question 1: If you work hard and develop the gifts that were given to you, and you have a vision of serving others (teammates), then what do you deserve?
Question 2: If you do not work hard on yourself and are not concerned about those around you (teammates), then what do you deserve?

I think that the answer to question one is that you deserve everything that you try to do because if you work hard not just for yourself but for your teammates you are a team player and you made are team that much better. There is no I in team. The answer to question 2 is that you deserve nothing except a swift kick off the team because you spell team with an I.
ReplyDelete1. It's not what we deserve it's what we will be accomplishing because if we work as a team at practice and on the game field we will play better. If we work as team and have each others backs we will play better and we will earn our wins.

1. You deserve everything you accomplished and more. You deserve the respect of your teammates and the coaches.
ReplyDelete2. I agree with Kyle... When you act alone you deserve absolutly nothing... You will not get the respect of the coaches and players.
In essence you deserve everything that you have worked for, but in reality unless the rest of your team shares that same vision, you won't be able to fully realize your vision. On the other hand if you do not work hard for anything, then you should deserve nothing, but in reality you are also hurting your teammates and cheating the entire team. We need to work as a team and all work hard, because we are only as strong as our weakest link. And we need to make that link strong.

You deserve nothing either way. With question one, you should just work hard and be satisfied with the results because you know you tried your best. With question two, you deserve nothing because you have let your teammates and yourself down.
